Hi- These are a few new pages I have done in the past couple days (scroll down). I am trying really hard to bust 'em out because I made a list and realized I am 45 pages behind! Arrrhhgggg! I need to go make some dinner, but if you want me to tell you where I got any elements on these pages just email me or leave me a comment, I am more than happy to share :)

I've had lots of people email me, so here is the info for this page :) Most elements are from an AWESOME kit called WHIMSICALITY . The sun stitching is from HERE The black butterfly lace is from a kit called WITH GRATITUDE and sorry Kim, they are no longer selling it at sweet shoppe :( The balloon stamp I just searched on google images for. The font is called DEAR MOM lots of cute stuff there. so hopefully that helps :) Let me know if I missed something.

UPDATE * here is the info for these 2 pages. You are gonna laugh at me, but I got those pretty butterfly cutouts from googles images because I couldn't find anything I liked in my kits. HERE is the link I used. I think it might be a necklace or something. All I did it use my magic eraser and take the white background out behind it, then I did a clipping mask with the paper I wanted over it. Took 2 seconds and was free :) The font I used for Darling is "Little days" and I can't remember what the dancer font is. I just used clipping masks on them with the paper I wanted. The stitching is from bad sewing XII. Let me know if I missed something.

This LO was done with a kit called WISHIN' and HOPIN' it was a promo kit that they no longer sell. sorry Kate, but maybe you could do something close with another kit. The font for "Kylin" is Miss Molly...so cute!

Most elements came from SHINE ON. The wave template HERE just do a clipping mask on it for the paper you want behind it. Here is the SUMMERTIME word art. I used Susie's hand for the journaling the font and Carpenter for the "sweet" font.

LOVE this kit I used on this LO, it's called WHIMSICALITY it's like it was made for me. The only thing I didn't get from that kit was the "K" and it was from VINTAGE CARNIVAL kit.

I used a lot of older stuff for this LO, so some of it is retired or I have no clue where I got it from all those years ago...sorry. But, here is the elements I do know. Here are the stitched clouds..I decided I really have a thing for clouds and bunting banners. haha. Speaking of, the circle bunting and the hills are from Chasing Rainbows. Also, I think you were wondering what the cute cursive font I have been using in some earlier LO's is called...SN Lavendar from this great font place I found called Scrap n fonts.

I have been looking for a hot air balloon everywhere and finally found one I liked :) I thought this would be a great page to use it on. I got it HERE. For this LO I used these two adorable kits BEST BIRTHDAY and SHABBY SWEETHEART...everything at sweet shoppe is on sale too :) I did clipping masks on the clouds with different papers and the alpha squares are GRUNGE but they are discontinued :( . I have realized I am defiantly drawn to certain colors and kits...I need to branch out, but it is hard because I know what I know what I like.

ps. Hey Kate, I totally forgot to put what that font from the earlier post was on my summer quick page. It is from Ali Edwards SENTIMENTS STRIPS. Not a font but LOVE all her handwritten sayings!

The tree base is FUNKY FOREST

I made each of the round leaves by using the circle tool and cutting them out of different papers. The Grass is from a retired kit. The frames are from BLUE BIRD. Buttons are from different kits. Swirls from a retired kit. Sorry some are retired...I am trying to use some of my older stuff, Everything else I just made using Photoshop.

Looking at this page makes me wish it was summer so bad! I used the make your own triangle banner kit (listed in previous post) All the papers came from ALPHABET SOUP and the cute "ice cream, girl and, sweet" flash cards came from ALPHABET SOUP FLASHCARDS. Clouds came from BLUE SKY with a white paper clipping mask. Then I just outlined them with a small brush in different colors. STITCHES NO. 03 by Ana at Designer Digitals. "Summer Girl" INKY ALPHA with a color overlay and then added a "10" stroke around it. Doodled sun from HAPPY PLACE has actually been retired.

The ball I just searched for on Google images, the cute TRIANGLE BANNERS are really cool because you can put whatever paper you want in them...they are fully customizable DIY. I love triangle banners right now. The clouds are from POP GOES THE WORLD the font is OWL SCRATCH

The butterfly's are from a kit called RUSTIC, I used a clipping mask on green and blue paper.

The swirly purple paper and paper with type (looks like an old paper) is from CLOSE TO THE EDGE. The fonts are OWL SCRATCH and the "conversations" font actually is not for sale anymore. The rest of the elements I have had for years and I can't find anymore :(

This LO may be pretty vintage for some people, but I like it... The kits I used are REFRESH and BLUE SKY and a few elements not in those kits are: BUTTONS from Kitschy Digitals, scalloped EDGES from sweet shoppe, "F" TAG from Sweet shoppe, and "playtime" RIBBON from Designer Digitals, and the blue SPLOSH is from sweet shoppe. I just made the color a solid blue. The font I used is called prophecy script. Wheew! I have a lot of supplies I thinks! haha. Thanks for being so sweet guys...It is nice to be back :)

Here is a 2 picture one I just got done. Made with mostly the kit SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE I did clipping masks on the doily at the bottom though and that comes from the kit THRIFT STORE. If you don't know how to do a clipping mask, I use them ALL the time. Just let me know and I will do a tutorial. :)

Wowzers- it has been a while since I have scrap booked or posted :( I have been so busy with photo shoots and my etsy store I haven't had a chance to do the thing I love and relaxes me...so yesterday (even though I shouldn't have cause there is so much to do) I stopped a scrapped for a few hours during nap time :) If you want to know where I got anything, just let me know and I will answer it in my next post!

A answer to how I get the lines around my clouds and scallops: I hand draw them with a thin brush in photoshop...get nice and close and it is easier to do, plus it gives it the charm of being hand drawn and not perfect :) Thanks for checking out my pages Manda...you're the best!

Here is where I gots my stuff :) The clouds are from 2 different kits, HAPPY PLACE (I desaturated and lightened them) FREE AS A BIRD kit not available anymore (I drew a black line around each cloud) and did a "clipping mask" over one with newspaper. The alpha is from JUST SAYIN' the stitched border is actually from my favorite set of stitches (I use them on like every page) ANNA NO.3 The swirl border is from AWAY WE GO (did a clipping mask on it with some pink paper) I made the yellow and white polka dot paper. and the way cute clothes line if actually from Elizabeth Kartchner blog header...I just "right clicked" and saved it :) The sloppy border around the frames is DOODLED POSTAGE FRAMES ( I erased the postage part and just left the border) Whewww! When I am just gonna learn to use one kit. hehe.

Elements are from a gazillion different kits. OK here goes:

The cute triangle banner is from Baers Garten REFRESH. I love her stuff because it's so vintage! The alpha is from Scrap Orchard's JUST SAYIN' Kit and I added a brown hue to it. The silver butterfly is from a kit I LOVE from Sweet shoppe called RUSTIC I erased all the extra butterflies. The pretty flowers are from EVERYDAY YOU at Scrap Orchard. I added a white "stroke" to them so they looked like stickers. The vintage frames are from a kit called VINTAGE CAMERA from Kitschy Digitals. See, told you I get my stuff from everywhere :) hehe. I just know what is in each of the kits because it has a preview outside each folder. So it is easy to find what I am looking for.

Some Ideas and Ways to Keep Up...

So- I have had many people email and ask me how I stay on top of Scrapbooking and dont get overwhelmed with the whole thing, especially with 3 kiddos running around. And, it could be REALLY easy to get behind and throw in the towel, but scrapbooking is suppose to be fun! So, here is how I do it :) I MAKE LISTS!

1. I Makes lists of events and random things I was to take pictures of. Example- pictures of Piper smiling, Kylin's tumbling, everyday moments, Kylin in her Princess dresses, Piper's nursery, Mckay and his hot cocoa. . By making lists of things to take pictures of then I can have ideas for special moments I want my kids to see someday and me to rememeber.

2. Make lists of everything you want to scrapbook from those pictures. I also put title ideas down or LO page number ideas next to it. Example- Piper smiling: "just to see you smile...we would do anything." Book II page 2 (I will tell you about my inspiration notebook in a sec) That way if you have a list of things to scrapbook, you dont forget anything and you wont feel overwhelmed becuase it is all there on paper and ready for you whenever you get a free minute to scrap. I dont even do them in order...I just do what I am in the mood for.

3. I get a subscription to 2 different scrapbook magazines, and so every month I sit and cut out LO ideas that I like and I glue them in an "inspiration notebook." That way if I am ever stummed or dont have time to come up with a creative LO of my own I can just look through my notebook. Sometimes I will go through and find LO's I want to use for certain pictures and then I write that page number next to it on my "Things to Scrapbook" list. Does that make sense. I number all the pages in that notebook and it really gets the juices flowing so I rarely get stumped.

4. Sometimes I go through digital sites and save to my computer the LO's I like to use later for inspiration. Plus, it really gets the juices flowing about fun pictures to take.

So, there are just a few of the ideas I use for keeping up with this WONDERFUL hobby. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions...and HAPPY SCRAPBOOKING!

Oh- and about making some of my photos and paper look old and weather...I use THESE...LOVE THEM! Just read the instructions, they are a little tricky to figure out at first. You can ask me if you have questions.

Also- Someone asked me about how I store all my TONS of kits. I actually put them all on an external hard drive because that way they are easy to access, backed up, AND they don't take up any room on my actual computer. I organize them by season or event and also I have my "embellies" broken up into different categories such as, "frames" "ribbons" "word art" etc. I also make sure that each of the folders has a "preview" of what is inside at a glance so that I can see exactly what kit it is without having to actually open every folder to find out what is in it. i hope that makes some sense.

I know it has been a long time since I have scrapbooked, but I have just been so sick that I haven't been in the mood. I am still sick today, but I made myself do a page so that I don't get too far behind. This kit is from Shabby Shoppe and is called "Yours Truely" a few Elements are from Dani Modgstads "All you need is love" from Sweet Shoppe.

Kinda in a grungy mood right now. :) So, I told a few of you I would start listing where I get my stuff from. So here goes- Most of these elements and papers came from Sweet Shoppes "One of the Gang." One of my favorite kits actually.
